02 Our story

A father's craft.
A son's promise.

Raghava Chary Carpentry Works began with Late Sri Raghava Chary — a carpenter who measured a piece of furniture not in years, but in generations. His workshop became known for honest wood, patient joinery and a finish you could feel with your eyes closed.

Today his son, Rama Krishna Chary, leads the same workshop. The tools have changed a little; the standards have not. Every door, cot and pelli peetalu that leaves the bench still carries the family name — and the promise behind it.

06 Questions

Before we begin,
a few answers.

If your question is not here, send it on WhatsApp. You will be talking to the workshop, not a call centre.

Ask us anything
How do I place an order?

Every order is taken over WhatsApp. Add pieces to your enquiry list or fill in the order form — we will confirm the details, price and timeline in chat. No account or online payment is needed.

Can I choose the size, wood and finish?

Yes. Almost everything we make is made to order. Tell us your room dimensions and the look you want; we will recommend a wood, finish and build that suits both your space and your budget.

Which woods do you work with?

Mostly teak, neem and mango, depending on the piece and the budget. We choose seasoned, locally sourced timber and will explain the trade-offs honestly before you decide.

Do you deliver outside Telangana?

Smaller pieces can be shipped across India. For large furniture, we quote packing, transport and fitting based on your location — share your PIN code on WhatsApp and we will work it out.

How long does an order take?

Small traditional pieces are usually quicker; large furniture takes longer because every part is cut and finished for you. You will receive a realistic timeline with your quote, and updates while the work is in progress.

When and how do I pay?

Payment terms are discussed and confirmed on WhatsApp before work begins. Nothing is charged on this website, and we will never ask for payment through an unknown link.

How do I care for solid wood?

Dust with a dry, soft cloth, keep the piece out of direct sun and standing water, and polish occasionally. We will share simple care notes for the finish you choose when your piece is delivered.
